List of our mainly Test Marks GS-Mark
Description: The GS-Mark stands for "safety tested". It certifies that a product meets the requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act (GPSG), the trade associations' accident prevention regulations, DIN and EN standards as well as the general technical standards. Before a manufacturer is entitled to place the GS-Mark on his product and prior to being issued a product related certificate, the product must be examined by a recognized test house (e.g. LGA). Annual factory inspections must carried out to maintain the validity of the certificate.
LGA tested
Description: The "LGA tested" certificate confirms that a product was tested according to selected criteria (performance characteristics, safety characteristics, statutory requirements and other individual requirements) and also meets the currently accepted technical standards. Manufacturers who wish to obtain the product certificate "LGA tested" must have their product(s) assessed within the scope of a type test, according to the above-mentioned criteria. Annual factory and product inspections must carried out to maintain the validity of the certificate.
Quality Certificate
Description: The LGA Quality Certificate certifies a product's high and consistant quality. It confirms the safety (e.g. electrical, harmful substances) and performance capability (e.g. functional characteristics, wear and tear, service life) of a product and therefore its comprehensive quality. Annual production surveillances ensure its consistant quality. So whenever you see the LGA Quality Certificate on a product you and the consumer can be sure that it was tested thoroughly.
